INVITATION : TO JAPAN WITH LOVE - Dates : JANUARY 5-27, 2012 HELD OVER TO FEBRUARY 29
A SPECIAL EXHIBITION TO HELP JAPAN REBUILD!
13 artists from Algeria, France, Peru, Sweden, Switzerland and the USA have donated 50% of the value of their works to be sold to help Japan.
Fifty percent of all sales will go to Japan, the rest to the artists to pay shipping costs, etc. The Galerie Quint-Essences is donating its space for this special occasion exhibition. Monetary Gifts to the not-for-profit Association Art à la cARTe can be deducted to the extent of the law from taxes and the money will be sent on to Japan as well. The works cover a range of styles and media : mixed media, oils, acrylics, spray paint, India inks, collage and oil pastels. The artists are: Feriel Benalycherif from Algeria; Jean-François Husson et Bernard Vidal (Officier des Arts et des Lettres de France) France; César Carrasco, Peru; Johan Wahlstrom, Sweden; Romana Brühlmann, Michel Bühler, Jeanne Dettori-Blandenier, Kesh, Jean Pfirter, Micheline Sidler (Michca), Pierre-André Staudenmann, Switzerland, and Anaïs Laurent, USA and France. 44444444 DU 3 AU 30 JANVIER UNE EXPOSITION EXCEPTIONNELLE POUR AIDER LE JAPON - retenu jusqu'à fin février! AU MOMENT DE L'ANNIVERSAIRE DU TREMBLEMENT DE TERRE ET DU TSUNAMI TO JAPAN WITH LOVE- 13 artistes de l'Algérie, de la France, du Pérou, de la Suède, de la Suisse et des Etats-Unis ont fait don de la valeur de leurs œuvres afin que leur vente aide le Japon à reconstruire. 50% du prix de vente ira au Japon, 50% aux artistes pour défrayer leurs coûts de transport, etc. La Galerie Quint-Essences fait don de son espace pour l'exposition. Tout don en espèces ou par BVR à l'Association sans but lucratif Art à la cARTe peut être déduit à la limite légale des impôts et sera également versé à une association ONG au Japon. Gastro-Arts, pot luck, every 2nd Wednesday of the month - please reserve prior to the event and check to make sure the date has not been changed on the list of activities mentioned under the artists link. You will be notified by e-mail if there are not enough people. 3 Reminder / Rappel : tous les derniers jeudi du mois nous organisons nos Petits Moments Musicaux du Neubourg si nous avons des musiciens qui se présentent : un concert OU un jam improvisé, entrée libre mais avec une collecte-chapeau pour le musicien à la porte. Venez vous régaler avec nous! Musiciens recherchés! /Voir le lien vers les artistes pour savoir les autres activités proposées chaque mois. "Little Musical Moments at Neubourg" - Reminder: the last Thursday of the month is usually reserved; that is to say, a concert or improvised jam session if any musicians drop by! We are always looking for any sort of musician interested in joining us! Free entry, but we leave a discreet hat at the exit where your generosity for the musicians would be appreciated. La Galerie Quint-Essences se trouve Rue du Neubourg 20, 2000 Neuchâtel, Suisse. HORAIRES : Mardi 14h-18h, mercredi-samedi 9h-12h, 14h-18h et sur RDV. Le lundi et mardi, si la porte est ouverte et il y a de la lumière, n'hésitez pas à rentrer. Art-thé (et café!) sont maintenant disponibles... pour le prix modique de CHF3.
