Pendant les mois de janvier et février nous avons eu le plaisir de
vous présenter une Exposition Collective de 6 artistes autour du
thème "Femme, qui es-tu?" Un homme et 5 femmes se servent de
media divers pour exprimer leurs visions de ce que c'est cette
créature difficile à cerner, la femme. v Sculptures par trois artistes: terre cuite, parfois émaillée, parfois avec des patines pour donner l'impression de l'antiquité; matières mixtes aussi, avec un effet tout à fait différent. De tailles variant entre la petite et la moyenne, mais toutes traitant du sujet de la femme avec un respect et une compréhension douce - du précolombien au moderne - elles s'accommodent et apportent de la grâce à un coin de pièce artistiquement illuminé ... v Photographies en couleurs et en noir et blanc avec seulement des taches de couleurs pour égayer et faire mieux ressortir le sujet - de la très jeune fille en train de se tâter pour connaître son destin à la femme mure avec enfants en passant par l'adolescente qui sait tout et qui nous nargue... v Peintures à l'huile qui nous touchent par leur sincérité et la simplicité des gestes du quotidien captés dans un regard, une déhanché, une tête penchée qui parle sans mots... v Dessins aux crayons de couleur qui caressent les belles formes de la femme et n'en ont pas honte - jolies femmes qui s'acceptent. Douceur et mélancolie en même temps. v Des traitements à l'acrylique, au papier découpé, des formes stylisées et modernes allant de la mère chaos qui donne naissance à mille mondes, aux planètes et aux étoiles à la jeune fille nubile qui ne pense qu'à ces bijoux clinquants et à ses ongles rouge écarlate.

During the months of January and February the gallery is pleased to present a group
exhibition by 6 artists on the theme of "Woman, who are you?" One man
and 5 women using mixed media express their points of view on who this hard
to understand creature, woman, is.
v Sculptures by 3 artists: terra cotta, sometimes enameled, sometimes with a patina that gives them and air of being antiques, as well as mixed materials that give a totally different impression. Sizes vary from small to medium but all deal with the subject of the woman with respect and gentle comprehension - from the pre-Columbian to the modern - all are best showcased and bring grace to a corner of a room that is artistically illuminated... v Photographs (colored and B & W with a touch of color to lighten and bring out the subject's essence - from the very young girl seeking to find her destiny to the mature woman with children, passing by the adolescent girl who knows everything and pushes the limits... v Paintings in oil that touch us by their sincerity and the simplicity of the everyday gestures in a look, a hip slung just so, a head tilted at an angle that says so much without words. v Drawings using colored crayons and pencils that caress the beautiful shapes of the woman and aren't afraid to do so without guilt - beautiful women who accept themselves. Gentleness and melancholy all at once. v Diverse treatments using acrylics, cut and glued paper, stylized and modern forms in pen and ink on collages, others that deal with Mother Chaos who gives birth to thousands of worlds, planets and stars, or the nubile young thing who thinks of nothing but her garish jewelry and her scarlet fingernails...
