| Le mois de janvier fut le début de l'expérience d'une série d'expositions sur un thème : "A chacun/chacune son histoire." Chaque artiste doit raconter son histoire dont le contenu se fait dans le style de son choix. En janvier ce fut Valérie Leba du Locle qui nous a proposé des huiles de Pinocchio, Alice au pays de merveilles et un série sur les îles des Bahamas. Féeriques, naïves, avec des couleurs soutenues et des personnages parfois sortant de rêve ou de mythologie : Entre rêve et réalité a eu beaucoup de succès et plusieurs toiles furent achetées. Le mois de février a bien commencé également. Une exposition d'Albertine Mermet, notre ancienne stagiaire, et Jeanne-Marie Bortolini exposent des illustrations (aquarelles sur papier) et photographies glacées. Deux styles et deux visions totalement différents, mais très excitant par leur nouveauté et leur touche moderne en traitant l'histoire de La petite sirène de Hans Christian Andersen. Le18.02 à 19h30 nous aurons le plaisir d'accueillir le Lundi des Mots de nouveau! Les Contes d’Emer Les participants de l’Atelier d’Emer, dirigé par Fabienne Vuilleumier, sont de tous âges (18 à 60 ans) et de tous horizons. Après le grand succès de la saison passée, ils viennent à nouveau vous raconter des histoires. Verre de l’amitié et chapeau à la porte pour montrer votre joie de redécouvrir l'enfant au fond de vous!La petite sirène se termine en musique :

The month of January began the experience of a year with a theme: "To each his/her story." Each artist should tell a story, the contents and the style of his choosing. In January, Valérie Leuba from Le Locle exhibited Pinocchio, Alice in Wonderland and a series on the Islands of the Bahamas. Oils that were meant to be fairy tale books for children, so fairy-like, naive and brightly colored were they. The island characters in particular showed a mix of dream and mythology : Between Dream and Reality was the title of the highly successful show. February began well also with an exhibition by Albertine Mermet, our short-term apprentice and Jeanne-Marie Bortolini, who exhibited watercolor illustrations and glossy photographs. Two entirely different styles and visions, but very exciting by their novelty and their modern touch. They chose to work around the Little Mermaid story by Hans Christian Andersen. The 18th of February, at 7:30pm, participants (from 18 to 60 years of age) of the story-telling workshop "Stories by Emer", directed by Fabienne Vuilleumier, will once again bring us an evening full of tales that will talk to your hidden child and bring great pleasure! (please be generous with your gifts for the story-tellers - hat at the door). Closing Night activities for the Little Mermaid will be an occasion for two groups of musicians to share their talents with us from 6pm on... see gray box to left for names of artists.
